Tea Parties Dead?

Hey we haven’t heard from any Tea Parties lately. They must have dried up and gone away. Congress knew that would happen. They were right to continue on “Their” agenda for America. Or were they?

Well there haven’t been any of those noisy, rude, anti-government protests lately. Have there? Tea Parties were just a passing fancy that made a lot of noise and tried to embarrass our Congress. Troublemakers!

But wait, what’s that coming over the horizon? Humm… it seems that the Tea Parties have been busy doing community organizing. Sound familiar? Yes, we have begun to form PACs, and get our own activists busy preparing for the 2010 elections. Our goal is to rein in all that “ugly” “un-American” anger we demonstrated last summer in those “Astro-turf” protests around the country – including Washington, DC.

This isn’t about beating the Democrats out of office. No that would just be a start. The Republicans who have been reckless in spending under George Bush and who have forsaken conservative values are also our targets! You know the ones. They are thinking that it’s still OK to get entitlements for their local districts. They still “think” it’s OK to add pork to bills and waste your tax dollars when the US deficit is in the tank for the next 2-3 generations. Well, they are in for a surprise. This isn’t a promise. We are working on a “Change WE can Believe in” not the one we are currently getting from the Fascists in Washington.

Call Obama’s Bluff

In a recent article we described the Administration’s side-step policy to negate Congress and regulate carbon emissions by letting the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) do it. Congress (of course) is oblivious to this possibility and continues along their merry way ignoring Americans and doing their own agenda on healthcare.

After a careful look into the administration’s strategy using the EPA to side-step congress, it became clear that the EPA would have to follow the guidelines set by the Clean Air Act. This is an exhaustive process. If the EPA wants to regulate carbon dioxide, they would have to do the following:
  • Determine the technologies that are available and determine which was most cost effective
  • Determine which of the source categories should be regulated and how.
  • Write the regulations.
  • Require each state to implement a version of the regulations into each respective state’s implementation plan.
This would take a long time because at each step, the EPA would have to (by law) seek public commitment, respond to it, hold meetings, and determine the impacts and legal challenges. This is a long, slow process. Chances are that it would not be completed before the end of Obama’s term.

To make things more interesting, we should ask the EPA to regulate ALL major sources of the newly defined pollutant (carbon dioxide). This would entail enforcing their new regulations on millions of households across America! This will never happen. The EPA would be doomed to failure. There would be too many violators to enforce! The Cloward and Pivon method of breaking the system would work quite well on the EPA!

Action To Take
Have Congress drop Cap & Trade completely and let the EPA try and enforce the carbon emissions!

A Second Stimulus

Is he crazy or just plain stupid? Obama is now talking about a second Stimulus to create jobs. Yeah, sure, wasn't that the whole point of the ORIGINAL Stimulus? Is that what the "brain trust" came up with in their conference on jobs the other day? Did you notice that those who attended had no experience in the private sector creating jobs?

Obama did not invite the Chamber of Commerce, or any small business people whatsoever. Funny, but aren't they the ones who create the new jobs in America? Do you think that UNIONS create jobs? They were all there in force.

So let's get it straight. Obama has just spent $1.6 Trillion dollars in his first 10 months in office. Some of these bailouts were used to create "shovel ready jobs." However, upon close inspection, the Stimulus only spent 3-4% on roads and bridges. Where did the rest of the Stimulus money go? So much for promises.

Are you aware that the bulk of the remaining Stimulus is not scheduled to be spent until just before the mid-term elections. Huh? We were being forced to accept the Stimulus and have it jammed down our throats because "we needed the money immediately". Now we discover that over 2/3 of the Stimulus monies are not available until a year after we approved it? Does this make any sense? Were we lied to or is this something they forgot to explain?

To make matters worse, now we are finding out that after telling us that if we didn't get the Stimulus we would see unemployment reach 8.5%. OK, so we gave in to keep unemployment down. So now unemployment has reached 10.2%! Wow, that makes a lot of sense. How much of this crap are we going to put up with?

Obama's Stimulus did NOT create ANY jobs. Where did the money go? It went to special interest groups and to more entitlements. Cash for Clunkers ring a bell? First time home buyers discounts ring another bell? What a terrible waste of money.

The latest brainstorm idea is to take TARP money that companies have paid back and spend it for the Second Stimulus. Hey Obama, this isn't YOUR special slush fund! Those are taxpayer dollars you are throwing around! You need to take the take the returned TARP funds and pay off the deficit instead. Try being FRUGAL for a change. Besides, you do NOT have Constitutional authority to spend that money anyway. Oh, that's right, you IGNORE the Constitution!

The idiots who believe you can spend your way out of a recession are destroying the US dollar. This in-turn is destroying the American way of life and the traditional American life style.

Action To Take
Let the White House know you do not want more spending. Complain about using returned TARP payments for more spending on ideas that don't create jobs.

Who Needs Congress Anyway?

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) just declared that carbon dioxide (CO2) is a harmful substance to people.

Stop for a minute. Take in a breath. Now exhale… There, that’s carbon dioxide that YOU just created from breathing oxygen in the air! The EPA says that’s BAD for you! What? Isn’t that part of the life cycle? Don’t trees and other plant forms utilize carbon dioxide to produce oxygen. Isn’t that the same oxygen that PEOPLE BREATHE? I don't know about you, but I don't belive that breathing is really bad for people.

Now a government agency (EPA) is stating that CO2 is BAD for humans?? Why? So they can regulate it! Who really needs Congress to make the laws anyway?

You see Congress passed the Clean Air Act (originally passed in 1963) which enables the government to “improve the nation’s air quality.” This law was originally intended to be used to clean up polluters and to make automobiles cleaner. You know, make polluters more responsible and hold them responsible for their waste and pollution.

Brief History
The EPA was created all the way back in December 1970. It came about partly due to a book written by Rachel Carlson titled “Silent Spring” that was all about how birds die because of pesticide pollution in the United States. The first Earth Day was founded back then and there was a huge political uprising for conservation and awareness regarding pollution. So who could be against conservation? The EPA was created under this atmosphere.

Today’s EPA
Now the Obama administration under the guidance of Cass Sustein, (Obama’s Regulatory Czar), is using the EPA for their own agenda. Namely, to support the bogus “theory” of Global Warming. Cass Sustein is the guy who wants to ban all hunting and give legal “rights” to animals so they can sue people! Honest, he wrote about this and now he's an Obama Czar!

Since the US Senate is too busy working on ObamaCare legislation, they haven’t had time to look at the ridiculous bill called “Cap & Trade” which was passed in the House of Representatives. Remember, that’s the one that will regulate your energy consumption and as Obama says make YOUR electric bill “skyrocket.”

Well, why wait for Congress anyway? The government can pretty well do what it wants under this administration. They can "regulate" their way into the administration’s version of it’s own Cap & Trade via the EPA. They can "nudge" you by regulation. Screw Congress!

Do you REALLY want the government to regulate CO2? Do they have the right to do so? Have they overstepped their powers? Can they actually get away with this? Doesn't Congress make the laws?

Action To Take
Abolish the Clean Air Act. Humm… that may be too drastic. Abolish the EPA. Humm… that too may be too drastic. How about cutting the EPAs funding? Ahhh yes, that would do it. Cut them down to size and let them know they ARE NOT IN CHARGE! Congress makes the laws of the land – NOT the EPA!

AARP Sellout Letter

OK, you are a member of the AARP or know someone who is. You already know that they have made a deal with the Obama administration to sell their insurance after government healthcare becomes law. They will be allowed to sell gap insurance to people who are being forced out of Medicare coverage.

Instead of renewing your membership in this Left wing organization, here is an example of the letter you should include with your cancellation of membership:

To Whom it may concern,

Enclosed you will find my 2009 and 2010 AARP membership cards. You have betrayed ALL senior citizens with your support of government healthcare. This plan eliminates over $500 Billion dollars from Medicare. You have sold-out your supporters so that you can sell your gap insurance after Medicare is decimated by ObamaCare.

I find your political endorsement disgusting and outrageous. I will encourage all senior citizens that I know who are members to cancel their memberships with your LEFT wing organization. I shall also discourage anyone I know who is thinking of joining AARP from not doing so
."

That’s it. Short and sweet. Let them know why you are dropping your membership.

How Pathetic Can You Get?

School supplies (pencils and notebooks) resembling Obama’s campaign ads are being sold to Columbia, Missouri public schools! The company that makes these items is now back-peddling saying (after complaints) that it was a mistake. The company Pencil Wholesale distributes school supplies to multiple Columbia area schools.

Here is a sample of a notebook that was sold in these schools:

Isn’t this notebook cover noticeably similar to Obama’s campaign images? Note the logo with three red stripes separated by white stripes in from of a white circle on a blue background. Now compare with the actual Obama campaign logo”

Does this look familiar?

How about the Obama Campaign motto sign?

The words are the same as the notebook cover.

This is truly disgusting and outrageous! Besides singing praise to the “anointed one”, we now have political reminders being sold to public school students to help continue the Obama Worship! These materials treat Obama like a diety!

This is nothing more than PROPAGANDA being used on school children. Americans should be outraged.

Action To Take
These school supplies were designed by the art department at Harcourt Pencil Company in Milroy, Indiana. Call or write them and let them know how you feel about their political propaganda scheme being sold to innocent school children. Promise to boycott their products.
