Obama Violates Federal Law for ACORN!

Obama Gives Your Money to ACORN!
A Judicial Watch investigation uncovered the fact that Obama recently violated the Federal ban on funding for the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now (ACORN) by giving this corrupt organization tens of thousands of your dollars in grants! These grants were to "combat housing and lending discrimination."

In Direct Defiance
In 2009, Congress passed a law called the "Defund ACORN Act" which officially stopped the flow of taxpayer money to ACORN. This was a result of the expose that showed the corruption and illegal activities performed by this group.

This past week Judicial Watch discovered that the Obama Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) awarded ACORN with approximately $80,000 in a grant. (By the way, one of the reasons WHY the paper trail has been difficult to trace is that ACORN changed their name to "Affordable Housing Centers For America." The point to make here is that this is the same old corrupt organization with just a name change to fool anyone who's trying to follow their activities. This grant is in direct violation to Federal Law!

So why is Obama breaking the law for ACORN?

Question to Ask
So when Obama is on the campaign trail, everyone should be asking him on camera, why he authorized these monies to go to his ex-employer. This smells of corruption in the White House and Americans should NOT let this one slide under the cracks like they did with Obama's close association with terrorist William Ayers!

Demand answers America! We have another crook in the White House!

A Book Review - "The Declaration of Independents"

"The Declaration of Independents"
Authors: Nick Gillespie and Matt Welch

My Review
Today we are held hostage to antiquated politics from the eighteen century. Namely, the Democratic and Republican Parties. The older they get, the more they get to be more alike - except when they are running for office. So why are there just these two political parties anyway? Why do we continue to defend these two political parties as if they are the ONLY choice we have?

By now you must be aware that these two political parties divide up the spoils of their combined $6.4 Trillion annual rip-off that they extract from us the taxpayers. These two parties then create their policies and regulations that benefit only the well-connected groups who help finance their re-elections! That's what this political "system" is all about - Re-election! politicians don't care about YOU! They care about re-election! They'll do anything and help anybody who in-turn will help them back. One hand scratches the other. It's corruption at the highest levels.

Americans have watched that under both Republican and Democratic parties our politicians have borrowed and overspent America into the biggest deficit we have ever had in the history of the USA. We have both parties to blame (and ourselves for allowing it to happen).

However, more and more Americans are beginning to wake up and realize that there may be hope - if they beginning to get involved and pay attention for a change! This book describes a vision that can be held by young and old alike. It is a compelling manifesto containing libertarian ideals. it identifies today's villains and shows how you can do something about it. The books vision resonates with the Tea Party's ideals.

Pull-down a sample copy for Kindle at Amazon.com and see for yourself. You'll find their ideas fascinating and inspiring.

Guest Article - Mr. Transparency!

The president’s evasion tactics on the debt and deficit
by Tina Korbe

"If that press conference doesn’t prove it, I don’t know what will: The president who campaigned on promises of increased transparency in government has turned out to be a master of evasion (and secret negotiations) instead.

With barely more than a month to go before the Aug. 2 debt ceiling deadline, President Barack Obama still refuses to really lay bare his budget and deficit reduction plans. Since he released his proposed budget earlier this year (a budget the Congressional Budget Office said would double the national debt and never achieve a deficit of less than $748 billion), he’s done nothing but deliver general remarks — and, as CBO director Doug Elmendorf said recently, the CBO doesn’t exactly score speeches.

Obama’s platitudes might have surface appeal — of course “we can focus on jobs at the same time that we focus on debt and deficit reduction” and of course “one of the most important things we can do for debt and deficit reduction is to grow the economy” — but they don’t deliver the specifics Congress and the public so desperately need to know before a last-minute vote on the debt limit.

(Of course, those specifics Obama did mention in the press conference this afternoon don’t exactly inspire confidence in the brilliance that supposedly simmers behind closed doors in Vice President Joe Biden’s rapidly collapsing secret deficit reduction talks. Praise for payroll tax reductions and unemployment insurance combined with criticism for corporate tax cuts doesn’t exactly bode well for a plan to reduce the deficit.)

Yet, the president still claimed today that he has led on this issue — and audaciously implied a Congressional vote to raise the debt ceiling should be just as much of a no-brainer as his daughters doing their homework.
But, as Sen. Jeff Sessions (R-Ala.), ranking member on the Senate Budget Committee, has said:

The president cannot ‘lead from behind’ in dealing with the most pressing crisis our nation faces—our exploding debt and the increasing damage it is doing to our economy.

It’s taking too long for a proposal to be presented, and it is clear now that optimistic statements about existing progress have been too generous. It will be unacceptable for the White House talks, or any talks, to produce a controversial decision at the 11th hour and for its passage to then be demanded in panic. Such an approach heightens the risk of failure.

Congress and the American people deserve a full opportunity to review and consider any debt limit deal that is struck behind closed doors.

Sessions is not the only person to have called for greater openness. (Here, for example, are Sen. John Thune (R-SD) and Rep. James Lankford (R-Okla.) saying the same thing and a Fox News panel debating the issue, as well.) But history shows us we have every reason to expect the results of the Biden talks won’t be revealed until the last minute. Consider:

The stimulus bill in February 2009 was worked out by a bipartisan group of lawmakers in closed meetings.

The president’s number-one agenda item upon assuming office was to pass comprehensive health care reform. The bill was negotiated by a few select Democrat congressmen behind closed doors without C-SPAN cameras, then presented to Congress.

And this past spring, the deal that extended the Continuing Resolution and avoided a government shutdown was worked out in private between Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, House Speaker John Boehner, and President Obama. It was then “dropped into the legislative hopper with crisis providing motivation” to pass it or else.

To be fair, the president might have fostered an environment of secrecy, but he hasn’t received much help on the debt and deficit from Democrats in the Senate, who might have been able to prevent the need for the Biden talks in the first place, had they just passed a budget at any point in the past two years."

Guest Article: Smart Meters Force Your Compliance

Forcing America to Use Renewables
By Tait Trussell, FrontPage.com

"The Obama administration wants an electric “smart meter” installed in every American home so it can be connected to energy from the sun or the wind. Then, despite the expense to you and to the government, we’ll all be ready for the renewable energy era Obama foresees with his unrealistic, glazed-eye view of the future.

That is the master plan. Although replacement of fossil fuels with renewables is about as possible as pigs taking flight, the plan has gradually been implemented since the start of Obama’s term in the Oval Office.

As recently as this June, the Department of Energy laid out a 63 page “enabling plan” which called again for producing 80 percent of our energy from “clean” energy sources by 2035 and putting one million electric cars on the road by 2015. Only 408 plug-in cars were running this January. Only 999,592 to go.

Back in January 2009, Obama had called for 40 million smart meters. Two-way connecting meters “will be installed in every home,” according to an article at the time in Cleantech News and Analysis. The smart grid will be expected, said the article, to pull energy from “green” energy projects such as solar panels and wind turbines on rooftops. Thus, Obama’s fantasy-world.

A smart meter is a digital device which can record the amount of electricity you use. It transmits this information (whether you like it or not) to your electric utility provider. The electric company can see when you use the most electricity. It can set rates accordingly and supposedly save energy and its costs as well.

On June 13, the Department of Energy excitedly announced that more than five million smart meters to date have been installed nationwide to modernize our electric grid. Only 109,825,400 more households to go. The smart meter money came from the so-called Recovery Act, better known as the “stimulus” package. That’s the approximately $800 billion package that failed to stimulate the economy.

To compete in the global economy, we need a modern electricity grid,” declared Energy Secretary Steven Chu. “An upgrade electricity grid will give consumers choices and promote energy savings…and [above all] “foster the growth of renewable energy resources.

Obama, this January, appointed General Electric CEO Jeffrey Immelt as his jobs czar. By pure coincidence, General Electric Corp. makes a variety of hardware and software for smart meters.

So, Immelt heads the Administration’s Council on Jobs and Competitiveness while at the same time continuing to serve as GE’s top dog. And while the Administration prods businesses to create jobs at home, Immelt, since he took charge of GE in 2001, has canned 34,000 workers in the U.S. while adding 25,000 GE jobs overseas, according to the Securities and Exchange Commission. Isn’t this solid proof he’s a guy we can count on to build jobs here in America?

Last fall, when the Energy Department handed out $3.4 billion to utilities to get them to deploy smart meters, the response was overwhelmingly negative in Bakersfield, CA, for example. A class action suit was filed against Pacific Gas & Electric, saying the smart meters jacked up homeowners’ energy rates.

Because many utilities and consumers have failed to rally behind the smart grid, the Energy Department April 8 announced it would sink $100 million into 54 different smart grid training programs across the country. This training outlay was described by the Energy Department as an attempt to “accelerate change.” The $100 million was called an investment in “workers of tomorrow” to create a green-collar workforce.

How about privacy with the grid? Communications industry attorney Michael Pryor says in an article on Smart Grid News.com Customer Proprietary Network Information (CPNI) established by Congress to protect consumers of telecommunications services may govern the “use and distribution of personal, sensitive information that will be gathered as smart grid technologies are deployed….The CPNI rules create an overarching ‘duty’ on telecommunications carriers to protect the confidentiality of their customers’ proprietary data….Customers should be able to decide whether third parties are entitled to access it for purposes other than providing electric power….” But will they?

In an April blog, Guerry Waters, vice president of Oracle, reportedly the largest international software company wrote: “Most consumers and regulators” seem to accept that utilities should keep pace with technology….Nevertheless, many remain “unconvinced smart meters are a wise investment.” Some think utilities will collect and possibly resell their consumption information. A larger group fear that smart meters “will usher in a new rate structure that will disadvantage the poor and elderly and saddle them with inefficient appliances….Many think less costly measures could do more to save energy or lower bills.”

Currently, nearly half of the electricity the county uses comes from coal-fired power plants, which the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has threatened to shut down supposedly to control mercury emissions from aging power plants. Stricter boiler standards would affect refineries, paper mills, chemical factories, and other facilities. EPA may delay the restrictions in the face of industry opposition.

A June 13 story in The Wall Street Journal reports the 946- page EPA rule mandates that utilities install “maximum achievable control technology.” The rule, even by EPA’s estimate, is the most expensive in its history. Clearly, the goal is to kill the coal industry. [my emphasis]

A Wall Street Journal article in April said not everybody thinks smart meters are “such a smart use of money.” Utility companies, it said, “are spending billions of dollars” outfitting homes and businesses with the advanced meters. Meters aren’t cheap. They run $250 to $500 each. These costs typically are passed on to consumers.

No wonder Obama warned three years ago that electricity rates for Americans “will necessarily skyrocket.”"

What TSA Didn't Tell You

Thank God for the Freedom of Information Act
The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) was created to protect the nation's transportation systems to ensure freedom of movement for people and commerce. Well, that's what the Congress said when it was established. But now it has morphed into another Big Government organization that will soon be unionized. What's worse than Federal employees being unionized? Working as a TSA agent! The Freedom of Information Act was used to gather information about TSA that they don't want you to know anything about.

Cover-up
It seems that TSA is afraid that they would provoke more public resistance to their naked body scanners used at the airports because new evidence has been uncovered. No they're not strip-searching another 95 year old Cancer patient, they are covering up the fact that there is a huge surge in reported cases of cancer of TSA workers. It is suspected that the reason for this increase in cancer among TSA workers is due to the fact that they work in close proximity to the body scanners. Recall, we were all told that these full body scanners are as safe as a few xrays! Apparently, this is NOT TRUE!

TSA representatives in Boston discovered "cancer Clusters" among TSA workers linked with radiation to their body scanners. TSA didn't want to let anyone know about this and those that did were refused the use of dosimeters used to measure levels of radiation exposure.

So lets get this straight. The body scanners are NOT safe for humans because those who work near the machines are developing cancer in large numbers. TSA workers are denied any protection from the radiation by not being allowed to wear protective badges that measure radiation doses. If they did, they would know when they reached unsafe levels and could avoid cancer. Sounds like a law suit doesn't it?

And... What about airline passengers who are frequent fliers? Aren't they also subject to the same dangers as the TSA employees? Shouldn't they have been warned about these dangers? No, the TSA Department just dismissed these "allogations" and avoided any confrontations - allowing people to work under dangerous conditions. Incredible!

Time To Protest Loudly
Isn't it time to protest? If you fly, you should! Get your state representatives to draft new legislation that makes TSA scanners and their ILLEGAL body searches a felony - like Texas and Michigan are doing! This cannot be allowed to endanger the public or their employees. This cannot be allowed to continue violating the 4th Amendment of ILLEGAL SEARCH AND SEIZURE.

Left-Wing Bias Flourishes

CBS Is Biased
Apparently if you're a third-place GOP finisher in Iowa you don't count! Was this a racial decision by CBS? It certainly was no accident. CBS omitted candidate Herman Cain in a new Iowa poll of GOP presidential contenders. Cain is the only African American GOP candidate in the Presidential race. Cain finished third in Iowa and wasn't even mentioned. Maybe that was an accident. Maybe not.

No Accident
Repeat behavior by CBS occurred on TV's "Face the Nation" show when moderator Bob Schieffer passed-over Herman Cain when he said that Romney and Bachman were almost dead even. Wouldn't you like to know who finished next and by what percent? Apparently Shieffer didn't!!

Why the Prejudice?
We can't say for sure, except that it is plain that CBS DID discriminate whether they admit it or not. The proof is there for all to observe in their record. Their lack of reporting showed a NEGATIVE preconception towards a BLACK candidate. WHY?

So should you trust CBS for unbiased reporting on the Presidential elections coming. Hardly! If they cannot get the GOP race correct and unfiltered, you can't expect them to get it correct and unbiased when the final race takes place.

What's The Point?
This is just another example of the Left-Wing media's hypocrisy and their lack of objectivity. And the Left is always the first to play the race card!

You need to be AWARE of this lopsided journalism and not be influenced by the CBS PREJUDICE!! Keep your eyes and ears opened and don't be brainwashed by these charlatans who are masters of propaganda.
