Reasons To Appeal ObamaCare

Pass It, Then Read It
You may recall that Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi said that we had to pass the healthcare bill and then read it to find out what was in it. The bill passed and now we are finding out the things that the Democrats did NOT want to tell us about ObamaCare. We can provide the specific page numbers of HR 3200, if you so request. Here are several details that were never publicized:

• The bill will provide insurance to all non-U.S. residents, even if they are here illegally.


• The government will have real-time access to an individual's bank account and will have the authority to make electronic fund transfers from those accounts.


• The plan will be subsidized (by the government) for all union members, union retirees and for community organizations (such as the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now - ACORN).


• The tax imposed under this section will not be treated as a tax.


• Doctors will all be paid the same regardless of specialty, and the government will set all doctors' fees.


• Cancer hospital will ration care according to the patient's age. At age 76, if you need it, you are NOT eligible for cancer treatment!!!


• The government will impose a prohibition on hospital expansion; however, communities may petition for an exception.


• The government mandates advance-care planning consultations. Those on Social Security will be required to attend an "end-of-life planning" seminar every five years.


• The government will specify which doctors can write an end-of-life order.


• This bill will not apply to members of Congress.

Action To Take
Don't take my word for it, READ the legislation THEN demand that your representatives REPEAL IT!

Still Going South
OK, we listened to Obama and we've literally spent BILLIONS of borrowed dollars trying to help the economy. The government (Obama Administration) keeps telling us that there will be a few "bumps in the road" but we are making progress. In other words - every thing's OK!

Question: REALLY? Does this feel like progress? Are you better off now than you were 2 1/2 years ago? Has Obama turned around a bad economy or has he made it worse? Is America better off now under his economic leadership?

Status Check
Mr. President: We have spent BILLIONS in Stimulus money. So where are the jobs you promised? We have lost 1.8 Million jobs since you passed YOUR Stimulus. Look where we are today. Over 50% of the unemployed have been out of work for more than 6 months or longer! This is worse than the GREAT DEPRESSION! (Statistics verify this point - Check your history). Stop telling us that everything is alright. It's NOT and you know it!

Prices Are on FIRE
Skyrocketing food and gasoline prices are socking Americans in their wallets. We feel the pain every day. And yet, you don't seem to care. Prices from last year are up considerably. Here are a few examples to illustrate:

• Corn - up 118%


• Wheat up 71%


• Cotton up 83%


• Sugar up 61%


• Coffee up 96%

Reality Check
If we're running out of oil, why won't you allow drilling? Now you want to give the housing market ANOTHER Bailout! You encourage the Treasury to continue borrowing from the Federal Reserve Bank while we have an unsustainable debt. The Federal Reserve inflates our dollars even more by printing worthless paper money with Quantitative Easing (QE1, QE2 and proposed QE3) fueling more inflation and higher prices.

It's time to learn from past mistakes and try a new tact. Unfortunately, Obama wants to continue spending and borrowing. These techniques are NOT working. People who think that they know what's best are driven by EGO and narcissism.

Definition
Insanity - Doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.

Mr President, your policies do NOT inspire confidence in the people who can make a difference in the economy. Is this neurotic behavior is is this deliberate? Either way, Americans are suffering and America is changing into a country with a lower standard of living.

Change Directions
America it's time to seriously question the direction that Obama is trying to take this country. What if this is NOT insanity or failed economic policies? What if these policies are working as he expects? What if these policies are deliberate in order to "fundamentally Change America"? Too scary to think about, but maybe it's time to begin to analyse his motives.

The Obama administration has kept a closely guarded secret: We are at WAR in YEMEN! That's right - at WAR! The extent of the growing war in Yemen is one of Obama's closely guarded secrets from the American public. American unilateral operations have been ongoing there since Obama took office in 2009 as reported in the New York Times!

Where's The DEM's Outrage?
Strange, but after the NYT reported these facts the Democratic Party remains extremely QUIET. (They are the ones who vociferously protested when Bush began the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan). Now they remain silent. Why is this? The anti-war protesters have nothing to say about a President who declares war on two countries without ANY Congressional approvals. Doesn't this seem to be rather inconsistent? Where is their outrage? Why hasn't ANYONE in Congress challenged Obama on these ILLEGAL ACTIONS? Are they all cowards or just fools?

How Many Wars Can We Fight?
Why is Obama fighting 4 wars at the same time? How can he decide who to fight, when to fight, and how to fight, without a Congressional Declaration of war? Isn't this a direct violation of the law of the land? Does anyone care? Has Obama overstepped his authority? Why? Shouldn't he offer an explanation to the America public? How's he paying for these wars? What are their purposes? What is the overall strategy to WIN? Was the USA threatened by these countries? Why are so many wars in different places being fought at the same time? What are their objectives? Who authorized them? Is Obama expressively and deliberately trying to weaken America by involving us in so many wars at the same time? Is he trying to destabilize the Middle East? To what end? We need some explanations!

Action To Take
Notify your Congressional representatives and tell them to get off their fannies and start demanding some explanations. Also tell them that at least 2 of the current wars are ILLEGAL and demand that they stop them without Congressional approvals. It's time to stop watching and take action.

UN Targets YOUR Gun Rights

The Latest Attacks Against Freedom
What a surprise! The latest attempts to rid you of any right to own and posses a firearm is coming from the United Nations! It goes without saying that the UN does NOT approve of YOUR Second Amendment rights. So they are pursuing a new idea to steal your freedoms. It's called a "treaty."

Still Under Wraps
The UN has been busy working to compose a new world-wide treaty that would nullify your gun rights here in America if approved by the US Senate. The new "treaty" would require the following:

• Confiscate and destroy all "Unauthorized" civilian firearms. This excludes all government firearms but you can be sure that the "Unauthorized" guns will include all guns. In effect, a total gun ban!


• The enactment of tougher gun licensing requirements to create additional red tape to gun ownership making it next to impossible to get one.


• The creation of an International Gun Registry. This is step one for a full scale confiscation of all firearms from US citizens - as well as world-wide citizenry


• The negation of the US Constitution and the Bill of Rights causing the loss of national sovereignty. This would give the Federal government more powers and they would be able to assert preemptive powers over the states.

This is NO Joke
This plan is real and is being developed as you read this blog. Also believe that this plan has STRONG support from the Obama Administration! Hilliary Clinton has already pledged to try and get full support from the United States Senate! This "Treaty" is really nothing more than domestic forearms control here in the USA! It is called the UN Arms Treaty Resolution.

Action To Take
Contact your US Senators and strongly voice your opposition to such a treaty. Tell them it gives up too many freedoms and destroys US Sovereignty.

Billionaire George Soros has "invested" over $48 million dollars in over 30 news and media organizations. His money promotes the Progressive/Socialist causes. He believes in controlling the message you receive. He wants to influence your reported "news." So far, Soros has been successful.

A Few of His Recipients
Here is a brief listing of a few of the Soros funded organizations:

• The Center for American Progress - This is run by John Podesta and his Communist buddy Van Jones (Obama's ex-Green Czar).


• The Center for Public Interest - A spin off of Podesta's organization.


• Center for Investigative Reporting - They are trying to get government funding (billions) to promote the Progressive message.


• ABC News anchor Christine Amapour - She runs the political affairs program and sits as a board director on a Soros funded organization.


• Sandler Foundation - Filters Soros money to various news organizations.


• Media Matters - A Progressive anti-conservative organization promoting anti-conservative initiatives and ideas.


• Free Press - Receives $35 Billion from Soros and distributes it to NPR and other Left-Wing organizations.

Note: The names of these organizations all sound so nice and harmless, but they are promoting bad things for the American way of life.

True cost of Fannie/Freddie bailout more than twice Obama administration claim

"The CBO [Congressional Budget Office] has a problem with the Office of Management [OMB] and Budget’s calculation on the cost of the Fannie Mae/Freddie Mac bailouts, and it’s no small calculation error. OMB has calculated the costs of the bailout at $130 billion, a number repeated on occasion by the Obama administration. By the CBO’s calculation, the cost of the bailouts reaches $317 billion, more than twice the White House estimate:

In a report delivered to the House Budget Committee on June 2, the CBO said a "fair value" accounting of guaranteeing the two defunct mortgage companies – known as Government Sponsored Enterprises (GSEs) – was more than twice as high as the Office of Management and Budget had accounted for.

"Specifically, CBO treats the mortgages guaranteed each year by the two GSEs as new guarantee obligations of the federal government,' the CBO report said. "For those guarantees, CBO’s projections of budget outlays equal the estimated federal subsidies inherent in the commitments at the time they are made."

"In contrast, the Administration’s Office of Management and Budget continues to treat Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac as nongovernmental entities for budgetary purposes, and thus outside the budget," the report stated. "It records as outlays the amount of the net cash payments provided by the Treasury to the GSEs."

The total of those cash payments is $130 billion, and is normally reported as the cost of the bailout of the GSEs to date. However, the CBO said that merely counting the cash payments, and not the cost of federal subsidies granted to the GSEs, obscures their real costs.

Essentially, the CBO is accounting for the cost of the federal government guaranteeing the loans bought and securitized by the GSEs.

In other words, the difference between the two estimates seems to be the status of the GSEs themselves. Had the federal government divested Fannie and Freddie by now, we would not be in the position of guaranteeing their ongoing loans. As CNS news notes, though, the federal government continues to issue explicit guarantees on Fannie and Freddie, allowing them to borrow at a lower rate. The CBO counts those obligations as part of the risk and potential cost assumed by the bailouts, along with the more recent mortgage guarantees issued by the two GSEs.

The calculation is then rather simple. The GSEs have a fair-value deficit between assets and liabilities that total to $187 billion. Combined with the $130 billion in cash infusions given by the federal government to Fannie and Freddie, the taxpayer is on the hook now for $317 billion. The CBO predicts that the liability will increase each year by slightly more than $4 billion over the next ten years as well.

Taxpayers might have to eat it all in the near term in order to shed the liabilities. If Congress gets around to ending the government guarantees for Fannie and Freddie, it will almost certainly have to resolve the deficit. That is why the CBO calculation is so important, and likely why Congress and the White House avoided addressing the issue in 2009 and 2010."

Can Cain Pull It Off?

Republican Debates
Herman Cain made his first national appearance in the Republican debates in South Carolina last month. No one seemed to have heard of him before that. Former executive of Godfather's Pizza has the reputation for telling it like it is! (His alias is "the pizza guy"). The best part is that Cain is NOT a politician in any sense of the word. He has NO political record whatsoever.

A recent Gallop poll showed that Cain had the highest voter intensity score of ANY GOP presidential candidate so far. His name recognition has risen over 16 points since March. The voter intensity score beats Romney and Palin by a landslide. Straw polls at the Tea Party Patriots convention in February made Cain the big winner. But can he pull it off like Obama did in 2008?

GOP Lacks What Cain Offers
It's sad but true, that Cain offers and satisfies the voter's desire to become enamored with a candidate - just like what happened with Obama! Herman Cain captivates his audiences. He describes what he calls "common sense business solutions." He makes you believe he can solve the nation's debt crisis - just like he saved the pizza company he commanded.

The Tea Party people love him BECAUSE he's NOT a politician! After all, who needs experience. Look at Obama. He's the perfect example of NO experience and then being made President. Cain has built up some strong loyalty in early primary states by making his presence known earlier that the other candidates! For example, Cain has been to New Hampshire 13 times already!

Herman Cain actually energizes his audiences. They like HIS directness and straight-forward talk. They find him refreshing and not just another political "suit" from Washington, DC. The Good-Old Boys like Carl Rove have already dismissed Herman Cain as little more than a good personal narrative. Is he right?

Cain's Message
Referring to the Good-Old-Boys in Washington, Cain says "They don’t get it," he said. "There is a big disconnect between the quote unquote establishment and regular folks. The people on the ground get it." In other words, he speaks for the people instead of AT the people! And, he doesn't rely on polling before giving his speeches. He speaks from the heart - not from a teleprompter!

Cain's central message and political platform is to abolish the Federal Income tax! Instead he wants to impose a so called "Fair Tax." It's not clear if he also want to abolish the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) as other fair tax proponents do.

In a new campaign video, he throws his arms around a group of white people and declares, "To all those people who say the Tea Party is a racist organization: Eat your words."

Cain says that Liberals "are scared to death of me. They don’t want me to go up against their beloved Obama. I have done stuff, fixed stuff, can explain stuff and run stuff. He’s been a community organizer, he’s got failed policies. He reads from the teleprompter, I don’t. I’ve got common-sense solutions, he passes 2,700-page legislation. The contrast would be so obvious, and when you get past all of the quantitative stuff, they can’t use race to cover for him."

Only time will tell. But you must always remember that NOTHING is impossible!
