Time to Leave Office

News Flash
Congressman John Conyers (D) of Michigan, sees no point in members reading 1,000-Page Health Care Bill.

HE QUESTIONS:
I quote Mr. Conyers at his National Press Club luncheon on Monday: “What good is reading the bill if it’s a thousand pages and you don’t have two days and two lawyers to find out what it means after you read the bill?”

Yeah Congressman, why read a 1,000 page bill that's going to radically change our entire health care system, the government power structure, our economy, and our quality of life? Just let the people who wrote it, pass it so they can please their special interests. Isn't a salary of $175,000 per year enough to get you to read a few pages? Why, it will take two days just to read it (maybe more) - let alone try and understand it. Besides all that, it sounds like a lot of work doesn't it? That's shoddy and just plain pitiful behavior!!

That's a the verbal "finger flip-off" to us!

THE ANSWER:
It's your job Congressman! It's your frigging job! It's what you signed-up for so long ago. You're expected to represent the people who put you in office! You're supposed to work for us! Apparently you forgot the job description for a legislator, because you've been there way too long! Dementia is setting in and you cannot make any rational decisions for your constituents any longer. You can't even perform the compulsory tasks of your assignment. You have become incompetent. This is a classic example of the "Peter Principle."

Record Tenure
As Chairman of the powerful House Judiciary Committee Conyers unfortunately has a lot of political influence (and he loves the power). He was re-elected to a record breaking 21st term in office in 2006 by Michigan voters. He originally entered Congress in 1964. That's 45 years in office! Yes, 45 @#$%$#@@ (expletives) years.

Blatant Arrogance
Shame on you Congressman! You're a disgrace to our system and to fellow Americans! You dishonor the position and title of United States Congressman! You're an insult to those of us who care. You're lazy and incompetent. You abuse your position with your arrogance. You do not fulfill your obligation by "reading" of bills and legislation. How Dare you! How Dare you! It really is time to leave...

Voters Careless Attitude
What are Michigan voters thinking? They must be cretins as well!! Talk about time for a change. This is a classic example of the arrogance that we allow to continue in Washington and the stupidity or lack of empathy of voters.

Shame on Michigan voters. But believe me, you're not alone. Your care-less attitudes are not exclusive. Voters in Massachusetts also get what they deserve with Senator John Kerry (D), 27 years in office, AND Senator Chappaquiddick (Kennedy) (D), 47 years in office! This list could go on and may become a future topic for this forum.

Out of Control
Congressman Conyers, you are another pitiful example of how Washington is out of control. Your arrogance defies logic. How your voters tolerate being treated like fools is beyond reason. Those of us who care despise you and others like you.

Hopefully, the mid-term elections will help us fix this problem and get rid of you once and for all! If not, DEMAND TERM LIMITS!
