TIME FOR ACTION Americans!!

Your liberties are under direct attack from YOUR OWN Congress. Senate bill 1867, the "National Defense Authorization Act" NULLIFIES the US Constitution and the Bill of Rights. This legislation was written by Democrat representative Carl Levin of Michigan and Senator John McCain (R) of Arizona. These two should be tried for TREASON!

Here's Why!
This bill has been clearly crafted to deceive the American public into believing that the "arrest and detain" provision in this bill did not apply to them. However, upon careful reading of this legislation, it becomes quite clear that it actually creates a POLICE STATE by using the US military as a police force to be used ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD - including your home! It gives the military police powers to arrest and detain AMERICAN citizens anywhere, without making any charges, omitting the privilege of a lawyer, for an indefinite period. In other words, if the President wants YOU arrested, he sends the US Military to your house and they will do so - and you have no legal way to challenge this arrest. You're SCREWED!!

Specific Wording
The "Arrest and detain" portion of this legislation reads as follows:

"Congress affirms that the authority of the President to use all necessary and appropriate force…includes the authority for the Armed Forces of the United States to detain covered persons…Detention under the law of war without trial."

That's plain English for the establishment of a POLICE STATE! How long before this would be abused by the government? No single person should have that much ABSOLUTE POWER! Only FASCIST governments rule with this authority!

Action To Take
Senator Rand Paul is trying to strike this offensive clause from the legislation. He needs our support! Give your support to Rand Paul for his efforts to nullify the offending parts of this outrageous legislation.

Better yet, call your US Senators today and let them know that you DO NOT SUPPORT this FASCIST legislation creating a Police State! Tell them to vote "NO" on the "National Defense Authorization Act (SB-1867)." Tell them to start all over and make it RIGHT without attacking the laws of the land!
