Shuler Gets "Franked"

Another Progressive Bites the Dust
Alas, but this week yet another Progressive DEMOCRAT - Heath Shuler (D, NC) announced he's NOT running for re-election. Voters in western North Carolina are lucky to hear this. You see, although Heath Shuler is a so-called Blue-Dog Democrat, and supports the 2nd Amendment rights of his constituents, he's also a true-blue Progressive. He fooled the National Rifle Association, but not HIS constituents.

Good riddance to Heath Shuler. He voted for TARP. He voted for Cap and Trade. He voted for the Stimulus. He's a Big Government Progressive. He was doing all he could to support Obama's Alinsky tactics to help destroy America.

So why the sudden change? Why didn't Schuler want to run for re-election?

Re-Districting
We can thank Shuler's departure because of the last census which also brought redistricting. Shuler's no dummy. He saw the polls and with the re-districting of his 11th Congressional district, Shuler now has more registered Republicans to contend with. He got the message, just like our old buddy from Massachusetts, Barney Frank. (Frank's the guy who contributed big time to the collapse of the housing market. Ironically, Barney Frank isn't in jail where he belongs).

The "Excuse" for Leaving
Heath Shuler's excuse for leaving office is that he wants to spend more time with his family. That's a LIE. All politicians who are through always try to save face by lying. Shuler stands to get a big trouncing in the November elections and he knows it. His new district will dump his ass. Why face the humiliation of being defeated? He can quit as Congressman and get a free ticket for his healcare, and Congressional salary for the rest of his life. Smart for a LOOSER!

Hence the term "Franked" as in Barney Frank. He too is quitting for the same reason. No, not to be with family. Barney wouldn't have a chance to be re-elected, because his district not has too many Republicans and Independents.

Fairwell Heath Schuler. You won't be missed by the folks in your district. Why you couldn't even face them by having and town meetings because you knew we would be there in large numbers and be asking you the hard questions about your voting record!
