Just In Case...
Just in case you were thinking of purchasing a new firearm, we have some bad news for you. Many (if not all) firearm dealers have noticed a SURGE in demand for guns of all types. The most popular (AR-15s and AK-47s) are becoming the most difficult to purchase. Demand has outstripped supply resulting in record high prices for the lucky ones who actually found a dealer with any merchandise.

Ammunition Sales Too
Just in case you wanted a case… A quick search of several popular web sites also shows an alarming trend. Likewise, a visit to local gun stores, shows a run on product. People are buying ammunition for all types of firearms. The too has caused a shortage in various calibers - especially 223, 5.56, and 7.62x39. If none of this makes any sense to you  - then never mind. Those happen to be popular rifle calibers - world-wide.

If you can find dealers with these calibers, chances are that they won't have them in stock very long. Many are already "Out-of-Stock" and are back ordered "depending on availability." The old rule of economics is working just as expected. The law of supply and demand.

Magazines
(Not the ones you read, but the ones you load). DITTO! If you're in the market to purchase large capacity magazines (anything more than 5 rounds) before Senator Dianne Feinstein (D, CA) bans them all, you will also find them hard to get also. Increased demand has driven up the prices where they are available.

Summary
The latest threats to lawful citizens by overzealous politicians is causing a major run on all related firearms products. These citizens are fearful of the government's NEGATIVE attitude towards the 2nd Amendment. Now there is talk of manditory federal gun registration. This is creating the panic.

Recall History
The National Socialist Party (NAZIS) required mandatory gun registration in 1938 by all citizens. This was innocent enough. Most complied. However, it was the first step of more government action. In 1939, the NAZIS confiscated ALL registered firearms. History is repeating itself here in America. If law abiding citizens don't see a parallel to this, then just keep your heads in the sand.
