The former Attorney General, Edwin Meese had this to say about President Obama's Presidential Directives;
"The President CANNOT do things that affect the public at large unless there is some Congressional basis for it....
Executive orders can only apply to those agencies under HIS control (Executive branch offices).
To impose burdens or regulations that affect society generally, he would have to have Congressional authorization. If he tried to override the second Amendment in any way, that would be an impeachable offense....
It would be up to the Congress to take action, such as looking in to it to see if, in fact, he has really tried to override the Constitution itself, In which case, it would be up to them to determine what action they should take — and perhaps even to the point of impeachment."
What Are They Waiting For?
Telling your doctors to ask whether you own guns is a perfect example of how POTUS is overstepping HIS Constitutional powers. This is one of MANY reasons to begin IMPEACHMENT proceedings.
