Another Example of GOP Turncoats

The so-called "Republican Party" is quietly moving forward with new legislation to add a sales tax on ALL Internet sales. Chairman of the House Judiciary Committee Bob Goodlatte (R, VA) is going to release his set of regulations in the next week or two. Instead of burying the bill, Goolatte is supporting it big time.

Perhaps this is just a coincidence, but Mr Goodlatte has been listening to lobbyists from the National Retail Federation who have incidentally, been pushing HARD for an online sales tax bill. Major retailers have been demanding this legislation for some time. Current laws reduce states to collecting sales taxes ONLY from retailers who have a physical presence in their state. Hence, explaining the popularity of online shopping - NO SALES TAX!

Other notable GOP supporters include; Representative Steve Womack (R-Ak),  Sentor Lamar Alexander (R, TN) and Senatore Mike Enzi (R, WY). Hey American Conservatives, these guys are NOT looking out for you! They are looking out for the people who support their political re-elections. Isn't it time to replace them with representatives who actually work with the people's interest?

Remember these CLOWNS in the Mid-term elections and vote-them-out first chance you get.
