A Change We REALLY Need
Under the Obama administration we have seen big government grow by leaps and bounds. Ironic isn't it? Day-to-day Americans face the harsh realities of Obama's economic policies while his newly created government agencies flourish with pay raises and new employee job hires. He goes on continuous vacations while we look for jobs.
It's also ironic that no Federal employee faces the harsh reality of being pink-slipped. Why is this? The private sector faces joblessness outlooks, while the people that WE employ are getting hired in record numbers with higher wages than we receive. They get almost double what we get!! HUH?
This is illogical. They should be experiencing the same harsh realities as the private sector. God only knows how many millions of dollars we could save the taxpayers if ALL Federal employees took a 10 to 15% pay cut. Or better yet, how about seeing them face a staff reduction of 10 to 12 %?
We could save a fortune! Granted, it wouldn't eliminate the insane deficit that Congress and the President has given us in the last 19 months. However, it would show Americans that their representatives are doing something positive to remedy the situation and that they think that they are no better than us.
Look instead at their actions. Nancy Pelosi just passed legislation that cost $26 TRILLION more borrowed dollars to bailout unions! What's that nonsense all about? The stupidity continues unabated.
We know one thing for sure. We REALLY do need CHANGE in Washington. It's going to start in just over two months. It's called the November elections.
