Boehner Caves...

So Much for Campaign Promises
John Boener's promise to voters lasted just about four months. He and other Republicans promised American voters that they would cut the 2011 budget by $100 Billion dollars. Well, last night the Speaker of the House, threw voters under the bus to support more of Obama's big spending.

Betrayed - as usual
Surprised? Don't be, he's part of the Washington problem. He's a Progressive polictician! Recall that John Boehner (R, OH) supported Obama by voting for the STIMULUS, the Bailouts, and the government take-over of the Auto industry. You shouldn't be surprised that he voted like a politician thinking of himself first.

Proof of Corruption
Don't believe the CRAP in the headlines about Boehner saving the day and avoiding a government shut-down. Last night, the Republican Party lost in the Washington Power struggle. Obama and corruption wins, while America continues to be flushed down the toilet. Power and greed remain unscathed while America and freedom are in deep peril.Too bad for us.

Meet the Old Boss - Same as the New Boss
Feel deceived yet? You should. You were betrayed, stabbed in the back, and thrown under the bus by what the Lame Stream media is praising as a hero. Boehner is no friend of the Tea Party. He's a liar - at best.

It proves that politicians on both sides will say or do ANYTHING to get re-elected. This examplifies why we need new blood in Washington. Somone who is not considered a politician. Someone who only wants to be in office one or two terms Maximum! Meanwhile, the hopes and prayers for America continue. Only now we see that the problem is much worst than ever detected. Progressives are winning in America.

Too Bad for the rest of us. Just watch the decline of a once great country.

We Don't Need the Bureaucracies

Shut It Down
Congress is worried about letting the government shut-down - NOT because they care about YOU! No, they are worried that you will find-out that they really have caused a big mess and this will draw serious attention to it and to THEM! Rightly so! The DEMs had full control over all branches of the government and they chose NOT to create and pass a budget! Who's fault there? Now the DEMs are playing politics and refusing to cooperate to get a budget passed for 2011. Who voted for these clowns anyway? YOU DID!

Pay Attention
If the government shuts-down, start paying attention to what's going on. Stop ignoring the jerks in Washington and watch them closely. All government programs are created to perpetuate themselves and grow. If they are closed-down, watch what happens. People will discover that these institutions and various government departments are really NOT NEEDED! What a surprise!!

Boat Anchors
Take for example, the Federal Department of Education. This "boon-doggle" was created by Jimmy Carter. Since its inception, it has grown and grown to a point where it now spends annually just over $100,000 BILLION dollars. Unfortunately it has very little to show for it. Our education system's test scores have gone down since this dinosaur department was created. All it does is grow, take more taxpayer money, and fail to produce what was promised. The same holds true for the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). They were supposed to stop urban blight and create better living conditions in the major cities. Another Failure! Likewise is true for the Commerce Department. We could easily close all three of these departments and NEVER MISS THEM! It would save BILLIONS annually!

Austerity for America's Survival
Why doesn't Obama have a Budget Czar? He's got over thirty Czars and yet he forgot the most important one! We need to start cutting and STOP BORROWING immediately! The legacy institutions don't need to exist if they don't get the job done. Why aren't they ever held accountable? All they do is ask for more money, get bigger budgets, and hire more employees. However, they just continue to fail, fail, fail and we keep allowing them to go on. Why? Instead, these institutions inhibit our freedoms while taking more of our money and failing to succeed. That's just STUPID!

Wonder About This...
Congress needs to eliminate these departments that are sucking the life out if America. But instead, we are six months into a fiscal year without a budget while Congress plays politics instead of resolving America's problems. Isn't it time for a REAL change? Why is it that freshmen in Congress can find significant tax cuts while the old-timers cannot? WHY? Because the Good-Old-Boys (both sides) are too busy doing business as usual. That's not why we elected them is it? Why is it that freshmen in Congress want to try and fix America's debt problems and the Good-Old-Boys do not? Because the Good-Old-Boys don't care about America or YOU. They care about POWER and their own personal wealth.

Action To Take
Observe closely what your reps are doing. HOLD THEM ACCOUNTABLE! Let these bastards know that the party is over and it's time to care about America and it's citizens for a change! Tell them not to re-open government until we get a Balanced Budget Amendment!

Let's Get It Straight

Democratic Congress
When we had a Democratic controlled Congress, they were unable to pass a budget. They wrote and passed Continuing Resolutions to allow Obama to borrow and spend his heart out. Last November, the Republicans took over the House of Representatives. They were mandated by voters to cut costs and lower government spending. Now they can't because the Democrats will not cut anything of substance from government spending even though the USA is bankrupt. They are protecting all of the government freebies and hand-outs.

The New Party of "NO"
Let's get the facts right. The Republicans want to cut the budget and stop wasteful spending because America is broke. But who's responsible for the obstruction? Give credit where credit is deserved. The new party of "NO" is the Democratic party. Remember this when you vote in the 2012 Presidential election.

Obama Warns of What Happens
Obama's cronies in the White House have been painting a gloom and doom picture of what will happen to the country if we do NOT pass another Continuing Resolution to allow more borrowing and spending beyond our means. We've seen Obama's proposed budget and he clearly doesn't get the message. Or if he does, then he is deliberately trying to destroy the economy by burying us in more debt.

Let It Close
The White House claims that 800,000 people will be affected by the government closing. Good! LET IT CLOSE! Do not allow the government to continue operating by more borrowing. Do not re-open the government until we get a BALANCED BUDGET AMENDMENT! PERIOD!!

The government has shut-down before and it hasn't destroyed America. It will actually save us a big chunk of change because we won''t be paying salaries of the over-bloated government.

We can live-off what the government collects while Congress FINALLY GETS SERIOUS ABOUT CUTTING GOVERNMENT SPENDING. DEMAND A BALANCED BUDGET AMENDMENT BEFORE ALLOWING THE GOVERNMENT TO RE-Start!!

Another Continuing Resolution?

You've Got to Be Kidding...
If you haven't been paying attention, Congress is strongly leaning towards passing a third Continuing Resolution to fund the government yet again without a budget. The fact that we have no budget lies with the Democratic Party. They neglected to pass a budget while they controlled all of Congress. Now they are fighting with the Republicans trying to force them to shut-down the government.

Don't Cave-in as Usual
The wussies in the GOP Good-Old-Boy club seem to want to keep the government up and running - even if it means giving Obama more outlandish spending and borrowing. That's just CRAZY. We put the GOP into office to stop the insanity - not extend it over and over again!

Let the Government Shut-Down
Seriously, this isn't the end of the world. Let the government shut-down. Send home government workers for a month or two. Let them feel the pain of meeting obligations, food shopping, and mortgage payments without paychecks coming into the household.

If the government keeps the essential services running, we can live off of what the government collects each month for several months. NO DEFICIT SPENDING! Meanwhile, maybe Congress can actually sit-down and pass a budget that reflects the fact that America is bankrupt.

What's to Loose?
Let the Washington politicians all get caught playing their silly power games and face-up to reality for a change. We need to start cutting government spending. This includes the sacred cows of Medicare and Social Security. We want and NEED spending reforms across the board - including the military!

Start with a Balanced Budget Amendment. Don't let government start back up without it! Hold fast. Watch what will happen. Can America get ANY WORSE than it is now? It will if we don't stop spending and borrowing.

Guest Article - Boehner is No Friend

The Tea Party vs. John Boehner The anti-spending movement fights to make itself heard in Washington and at home.
Edited by Jim Epstein, with help from Joshua Swain

"The Tea Party held a rally outside the Capitol Building today to demand that congressional Republicans demand significant cuts in federal spending. The outlook is bad. House Republicans are fighting to hold on to the $61 billion in spending cuts they approved in February, a mere rounding error in a budget totaling about $3.8 trillion.

Today's rally shows how the Tea Party has continued the fight to make itself heard in Washington. But in Ohio there's a new focus: local politics.

"I have no expectation of anything coming out of congress that's going to be very close to what I'd like to see happen," says Chris Littleton, president of both the Cincinnati Tea Party and the Ohio Liberty Council, which is an umbrella group of 65 Tea Party and other activist groups in the buckeye state. "But we can have a greater degree of effect at the state level."

The Ohio Liberty Council is appointing a designated representative in every congressional and state senate district; Tea Party groups across Ohio are throwing support behind mayoral, city council, and school board candidates, with the intention of effecting policy but also building a farm team for higher office; and city and county Tea Party organizations are breaking apart into more localized groups comprised of precinct and block captains who regularly go door-to-door to court the votes of their neighbors.

However, the Ohio Tea Party is attempting to influence one local politician with outsized influence on the national stage: House GOP Majority Speaker John Boehner. As house minority leader from 2007-2011, Boehner rubber stamped practically every Bush-era initiative to expand the scope and size of the federal government.

More recently, Boehner has stated his support for increasing the federal debt ceiling, which will allow Washington to continue borrowing money to meet its obligations after it hits the limit (which is expected to happen before the end of May). The West Chester Tea Party, which is opposed to increasing the debt limit, has been contacting the Speaker's donors, asking them to influence him to take a harder line on the issue." ============================

Boehner is a Good-Old-Boy
As pointed out above, John Boehner is one of the old established Republicans who like to spend, spend, spend, and extend the national debt. The GOP better take heed and do what they promised when we elected them. The business as usual motto is a dead horse. Otherwise, they will find themselves out-of-office in the next election cycle. This is no threat - it's reality. If they don't believe it, their actions will determine their fate.

Guest Article - Voter Fraud

Election Fraud is Ruining America (And How to Fix It)
by Floyd and Mary Beth Brown from the Floyd Reports

"One of the most surreal experiences of our lives was watching an unelected bureaucrat pick and choose what ballots she wanted to count in the closely contested election featuring pseudo-Republican Lisa Murkowski and Tea Party Favorite Republican Joe Miller in Alaska. Having spent decades watching ballots be counted in hundreds of elections, and never once have we seen a situation with such outrageous manipulation of the vote.

But I guess we weren’t in Colorado. Hot off the presses is a report that documents 5,000 non-citizens voting in that states highly contested elections. According to a report in The Hill, the “Secretary of State Scott Gessler, a Republican, told the panel that his department’s study identified nearly 12,000 people who were not citizens but were still registered to vote in Colorado…Of those non-citizen registered voters, nearly 5,000 took part in the 2010 general election in which Democratic Sen. Michael Bennet narrowly defeated Republican John Buck. Colorado conducted the study by comparing the state’s voter registration database with driver’s license records.”

In state after state corruption is beginning to undermine the credibility of the fairness of elections. We all remember the election officials in Florida holding up ballots looking for hanging chads in the Presidential race between Al Gore and George W. Bush. The presidential race in 2000 was sadly decided in the Supreme Court, and it undermined the credibility of President Bush until his more convincing re-election victory in 2004. To his day, we still see bumper stickers that say re-elect Gore in 2008.

In Washington state, Dino Rossi lost a governor’s race in 2004 only after the ballots were counted three times. Every new count featured the liberal King County election officials discovering votes that were not counted the first time. These votes just appeared from nowhere weeks after the election was over.

All citizens left, right, center, Republican, Green, Democrat, and Libertarian should be able to have confidence in the integrity of the voting process. Without faith in the process, the illegitimate election results undermine the ability to govern.

Let us suggest some reforms.

1. Identification should be required to vote. No American should be offended for having to produce identification to prove residency and citizenship. This will give us all confidence in the outcome, and we will be confident that some activists are not attempting to vote in multiple jurisdictions.

2. Every time someone votes it should produce a paper record of the votes cast. Machine tabulation is open to hacking and manipulation by the individuals running the election. If every vote produces a paper ballot, it leaves an audit trail that will insure integrity. A laser printer could be attached to voting machines and the print out could be reviewed by the voter for errors. Every ballot could feature a control number to keep it from being miscounted.

3. Write in voting should be eliminated in this era of instant information. Instead of write in candidates, the actual ballots should adjust to allow additional candidates on the ballot. Filing deadlines could be extended to accommodate multiple participants and parties. Systems that limit the number of candidates in any race should be eliminated. A wide open process with maximum participation is best.

4. Ballots not entered into the counting process during a pre-approved voting period would not me counted. Officials could say if a ballot is not found within a week of the election it would not be valid.

Unless elections processes are reformed, bitter partisanship will linger beyond the tally of the vote. Just the left felt betrayed by the election of George W Bush after Florida in 2000, conservatives in Alaska are embittered against Senator Lisa Murkowski and consider her election a fraud.

Only with clear rules and concise audit trails will we all feel like elections are won and lost, fair and square. In a high tech society that keeps records of millions of atm and credit card transactions, don’t tell us we cannot figure out how to validate voters and the ballots they cast."
