Political Quotes of 2010

Proving it's Time to Vote-Out the Trash

Here are some politicians quotes in 2010:
  • ''I was also going to give a graduation speech in Arizona this weekend. But with my accent, I was afraid they would try to deport me.'' — California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger

  • ''UPS and FedEx are doing just fine, right? It's the Post Office that's always having problems.'' — Barack Obama

  • ''I'm going to kill that f**king dog.'' — White House Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel

  • ''My only regret in creating 23 million new jobs is that two million of those jobs were for right-wing pundits.'' — Bill Clinton

  • ''John McCain couldn't make it. He said he had never identified himself as a maverick. We all know what happens in Arizona when you don't have ID. Adios, amigos.''— President Barack Obama

  • A ''light skinned'' African-American ''with no Negro dialect, unless he wanted to have one.''
    —Senate Democratic leader Harry Reid

  • ''I'm blacker than Barack Obama. I shined shoes. I grew up in a five-room apartment. My father had a little laundromat in a black community not far from where we lived. I saw it all growing up.'' — Ex-Illinois Gov. Rod Blagojevich

  • “As I said to some friends … in the press, we will go through the gate. If the gate is closed, we will go over the fence. If the fence is too high, we will pole vault in. If that doesn’t work, we will parachute in. But we are going to get health care reform passed for the American people for their own personal health and economic security and for the important role that it will play in reducing the deficit.” - Nancy Pelosi

And you wonder why these people are still in office?

Double-Down America

Think It's Bad Now?
Just wait 120 more days! The Bush tax cuts will expire and are we in for some bad doo doo. Here's why:

Personal Income Taxes
For those of us who still pay personal income taxes, here are the statistics. (Remember, that 45% of ALL Americans do NOT pay income taxes any longer. But this is another blog topic). Personal income tax rates are going to rise significantly for those of us who are working and paying Federal taxes. The top income rates will rise from 35%to 39%. This is also the same rate increase for all small businesses! Gee, that should help the recovery a lot!

But don't think you dodged the bullet. ALL income tax rates are going up, as follows:

  • The 10% bracket jumps to 15%
  • The 25% bracket jumps to 28%
  • The 28% bracket jumps to 31%
  • The 33% bracket jumps to 39.6%

There More!
The so-called "marriage penalty tax" gets cuts from $1000 to only $500 per child. Dependent care tax credit is going to be cut. And, the standard marriage deduction will no longer be doubled for married couples relative to the single level.

We're not Done Yet
The Death tax returns. It's much cheaper to die now than it will be to do in 120 days! The tax will be up to 55% depending on the size of the estate you leave survivors! Nice huh? They will get much less inheritance.

STILL MORE!
There will be much higher taxes on people who save or have retirement accounts! Top capital gains tax will rise from 15% to 20% in 2011! Your dividends will be taxed 20%!! Top dividends will go from 15% to 39.6% in 2011. The dividend rates will climb another 3.8% and become 43.4% on 2013! Gee, that gives your savings a real boost huh?

There are Over 20 New Obama Taxes
Briefly these are as follows:
  • Tanning tax
  • Medicine Cabinet Tax (no more health saving's accounts [HSA])
  • HSA withdrawal tax
  • Brand name drug tax
  • IRS will disallow previous medical deductions
  • Employer reporting of YOUR healthcare benefit (so you can be taxed on them)
  • Alternative tax minimums (ATMs) will be raised
  • Employer tax hikes (passed on to yoou the consumer)
  • Small business expensing is abolished
  • Tax benefits for education and teaching are reduced (No more write-offs)
  • No more deductions for charitable contributions (The government will decide YOUR charities instead)
Granted, about half of these taxes are from the Bush tax cuts but the other new taxes are all from OBAMACARE!

Action To Take
Notify your representatives to allow the Bush tax cuts to remain and tell them to un-fund OBAMACARE.

Guest Article - Taking Full Credit

Obamateurism of the Day
by Ed Morrissey

Who won the Iraq war? If Barack Obama’s weekend address is any indication, he did it almost singlehandedly — even though he opposed the eventually successful strategy that tamped down the violence and gave Iraqis a chance to take control of their country:

"As a candidate for this office, I pledged I would end this war. As president, that is what I am doing. We have brought home more than 90,000 troops since I took office. We have closed or turned over to Iraq hundreds of bases. In many parts of the country, Iraqis have already taken the lead for security."

What Obama failed to mention was that his predecessor, George W. Bush — who actually implemented the victorious strategy over the objections of a Senator named Barack Obama, who claimed it would never work — actually created the blueprint for that very drawdown. Not once did Obama mention Bush, nor did he mention “victory.” In that, Obama actually echoes the Iraqis, who are already voicing their objections over Obama’s declaration of, well, success:

President Barack Obama’s message this weekend that Iraq would “chart its own course” may have been welcome news for war-weary Americans, but it has fueled anxieties about the future among Iraqis.

The war is not ending. The war against terrorism continues here,” Nuri al-Moussawi, a 51-year-old Baghdad resident, said. … “The American withdrawal is hasty. The capabilities of our army have not been built yet,” Moussawi said.

In his Oval Office address, Obama backed away from “success” and “victory,” too, mentioning neither. If things fall apart because Obama took us out of Iraq too early rather than work with Baghdad to adjust the timelines based on real-world conditions, guess which name Obama will start mentioning instead of “I” then?

The War Speech

Boring!
The "GREAT Orator" gave a stunning speech that only lasted about 17 minutes. Thank God! As leader of the free world he showed as much enthusiasm as a wet match. Thought to be a great orator, Obama read seemlessly from the teleprompters last night putting his audience into the "Z" zone quickly.

His speech had no redeeming qualities. In fact it will remain "forgetful"! The presentation and delivery of this speech diminishes his reputation as a great speaker. Obama is supposed to be one of the most well-read, inspirational "leaders" of our time. Instead, he sounded and looked like the main stream politician that he really is! Perhaps mentally, he was STILL ON VACATION! His message lacked any obvious enthusiasm and he took credit for the end of the war. REALLY?

He'd rather be "fundamentally changing America" than to have to deal with foreign affairs. He's a political weakling and pure amateur as a world leader. Last night, he showed it.

We deserve a strong leader - not a pussycat in foreign affairs! He let Iran get nukes under his watch. Nothing good will come of that. He has trashed and insulted our allies. he has appologised to every country who will listen. He has embarrased himself and America by bowing to foreign dignitaries.

Remember who was in charge over the last 18 months. Vote-out INCUMBENT Progressives in two months. We will "fix" the White House in 2012.

Is He THAT Dumb?

Missed the Message...
Just like the Lame Stream media, our professor community organizer President missed the message at the Glenn Beck rally. Obama claims that he paid no attention to the "Beck Rally" in Washington, DC over the weekend. Yeah, right, sure! Any guy who ignores 500,000 people attending a rally in his backyard Washington home is either STUPID or lying (again). He had to be apprised of the rally, unless he's totally incompetent. You decide!

If we believe that Obama paid no attention to the Beck rally, then we believe he is a fool. Ignoring almost a half-million people in-your-face is just ridiculous! If we don't believe he dismissed the rally, then we believe he's a liar! Either way, this rally will have a lasting impact on his administration and its goals to "fundamentally transform America." It spells-out trouble for the Democratic Party in just over 60 days and the mid-term elections. It may also be the straw to break the camel's back for the 2012 elections.

The Media's Interpretation
The Lame Stream media coverage was a disgrace. It wasn't even close to reality. In the very least, it was misleading with distorted information. At it's worst, it was stirring up racism. There are no more honest journalists left in America. They have sold their soles to Obama. CNN labeled the rally as a "Conservative Rally of 85,000 people." This label served as a warning for their listeners that the bad guys (troublemakers) were making trouble for America. Other networks labeled the event as a "pit of hatred." ABC News: "Thousands Attend Glenn Beck Rally." AOL News: "MLK Legacy Hijacked or Honored?" The LA Times: "Amid Criticism, thousands attend Beck rally." USA Today: " D.C. buzzing with Beck supporters." The Washington Post: "The cult of Beck?"

Don't trust the media. They have filtered the "news" according to their political views. They have not reported the event honestly or objectively. They do NOT report the NEWS. They "report" their Progressive agenda. They are nothing but pawns for the Obama administration. He controls them and their so-called "reporting." It is a form of tyranny! Be Aware. Be Fearful!

The Message
500,000 people showed-up to demonstrate that they are unhappy with the direction the country is headed. This wasn't a Tea Party event! People from all across America united into a strong solid group that came to restore the Founding Father's basic principles. It all starts with restoring honor amongst ourselves first. Be true to yourself. Set the proper example in your life. Believe that Divine Providence influenced the founding of America. Become active and serve as watchdogs over the corruption, dishonesty, and just plain dirty politics.

Saturday was a turning point in American history. People of all nationalities came to restore honor and to rid the corruption that has taken over to both political parties and American government. Still don't believe?

We will deliver the message clearly on November 2, 2010.

America's Changing Point

"Advance or Perish"
Americans will no longer retreat. We WILL restore honor, character, and faith in America. Tea Party activism is alive and well in the USA! We ARE a force to recon with!! Yesterday marked the changing point in briging back AMERICAN values and traditions to the country. We will no longer allow President Obama and the Progressive LEFT "Fundamentally Change America." This pervision will no longer continue. Progressives are the enemies of the Constitution. They are killing this country with their political correctness, government take-overs, regulations, and bailouts!

Washington Politicians Beware!
If you think that the 1994 mid-term elections were historical, wait until this November! Americans from all over the country and people from all over the world attended the Restoring Honor rally hosted by Glenn Beck in Washington, DC. The infamous NBC reported that just about 300,000 people attended. What that means is that there at least 500,000 people in attendance!

Here are some images to show you:

We demand better representation and we will get it. Career politicians beware. Your days are numbered. It's time to retire and get the hell out of Washington where you have bastardized this country long enough. START PACKING!!

Politicians
You're gone if you voted for Cap & Trade. You're gone if you voted for ObamaCare. You're gone if you voted for the Stimulus. You're gone if you didn't read the legislation that YOU voted for! We're not mad. We're Awake and finally doing what we should have done long ago. CLEAN HOUSE!!
