Don't Be Fooled Again

FDR Created the FCC
The Telecommunications Act of 1934 created the Federal Communications Comission (FCC). This government department was allegidly created to oversee radio frequencies and bandwidths for radio broadcasting. Nowadays the FCC tries to "regulate" everything they can get their BIG GOVERNMENT hands on - including the Internet.

The FCC IS Unconstitutional
It's true. The Federal Communications Comission is inherently unconstitutional. How can this be? Think about it. The FCC regulates CONTENT of all radio and network broadcasting in the USA. It tells broadcasters (including radio, TV, and ham radio) what they can - and CANNOT say on the airwaves. It limits spoken words.

The FCC tried to re-classify the Internet under Title 2 of the Telecommunications Act and were rejected by the courts. Next they tried the same under Title 1. NADA! Congressman Markey (D, MA) tried to get the Net Neutrality bill going in Congress, but only got 27 co-sponsors. So it failed in Congress. Nevertheless the FCC continues to ignore the law and keep trying to grab power - at YOUR expense.

What About the 1st Amendment?
Doesn't the 1st Amendment guarantee the right to free speech? Yes it does! So why do we have a government agency like the FCC overseeing the distribution of speech over the airwaves? The FCC regulates the content on broadcast networks. THAT'S unconstitutional because that's a form of censorship! It's MARXIST to "regulate" radio and TV content.

They're Lying
Don't believe the government when they say that they are trying to "protect you." Look at how well that is working out with the TSA thing at privately owned airports. The FCC claims that they are trying to protect us from Internet Service Providers (ISPs). They want to force them to treat all Internet content "equally." This is the Fairness Doctrine re-emposed on us only now over the Internet!

Net Neutrality Regulation
Net neutrality is a euphemism for the "Fairness Doctrine." It's just another BIG Government grab for more power and control over YOUR lives. Progressives in this administration want to bring back the Fairness Doctrine. Recall this was the "regulation" that required equal time for oposing views. If you had a speaker on the Right for 15 minutes, you had to have a speaker on the Left for 15 minues to "balance" your broadcast. Now if your blog is anti-administration, you have to place links to pro-administration blogs on YOUR website!

December 21, 2010
The FCC is not deterred by common sense, the judicial system, or by Congress because they want MORE power. Whether you like it or not and whether it's legal or not, the FCC is moving forward to implement it's Internet control on 12/21/2010. At that point they are injecting themselves into the Internet. Before you place Internet content, you first need to come to the FCC and get their approval of YOUR content.

Do you get it now? CENSORSHIP!!!

A Ray of Hope
We need to tell the FCC loud and clear to "Keep YOUR Grubby Hands Off the Internet and Free Speech." There IS a 1st Amendment and you can's steal it!

Fortunately, Representative Marsh Blackburn (R, TN) is preparing HR Bill 3924 which prohibits the FCC from taking these ILLEGAL actions. Support this legislation and Ms. Blackburn.

Had Any Internet Problems Lately?

Coincidence or Reality?
Have you experienced ANY Internet connectivity problems lately? We have! This last one was no connectivity for over 60 hours - continuous! Is this just a coincidence after the WikiLeaks attacks against the USA? Who really knows. One thing for sure, we do know that WikiLeaks was shut down by denial of service attacks. It's also a fact that the Department of Homeland Security is "policing" the Internet and arbitrarily closing-down websites at their own digression. No court orders, no charges, just stopping them dead in their tracks because a bureaucrat "THINKS" there may be a violation.

FCC Regulation Effective Date
In the article that follows this one there is a description of how the FCC is preparing to TAKE CONTROL OVER THE INTERNET on December 21, 2010. Please read it carefully and draw your own conclusions.

Apologies for No Blog
We apologize to our readers for no blog yesterday. Be sure and read today's because it explains the reasons for paranoia about Internet attacks by OUR government!

Guest Article: Warning: DEATH to Free Speech

America - This is NO Joke!

EDITORIAL: Wave goodbye to Internet freedom FCC crosses the Rubicon into online regulation

By THE WASHINGTON TIMES

"The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) is poised to add the Internet to its portfolio of regulated industries. The agency's chairman, Julius Genachowski, announced Wednesday that he circulated draft rules he says will "preserve the freedom and openness of the Internet." No statement could better reflect the gulf between the rhetoric and the reality of Obama administration policies.

With a straight face, Mr. Genachowski suggested that government red tape will increase the "freedom" of online services that have flourished because bureaucratic busybodies have been blocked from tinkering with the Web. Ordinarily, it would be appropriate at this point to supply an example from the proposed regulations illustrating the problem. Mr. Genachowski's draft document has over 550 footnotes and is stamped "non-public, for internal use only" to ensure nobody outside the agency sees it until the rules are approved in a scheduled Dec. 21 vote. So much for "openness."

The issue of "net neutrality" is nothing new, but the increasing popularity of online movie streaming services like Netflix have highlighted an area of potential concern. When someone watches a film over the Internet, especially in high definition, the maximum available capacity of the user's connection is used. Think, for example, of the problems that would arise at the water works if everyone decided to turn on their faucets and take a shower simultaneously. Internet providers are beginning to see the same strain on their networks.

In some cases, heavy use of this sort slows the Web experience for everyone sharing the same lines. That has prompted some cable Internet providers to consider either charging the heavy users more or limiting access to the "problematic" services. Of course, if cinema buffs find themselves cut off from their favorite service, they're going to be mad. If companies don't act, they're just as likely to find irate customers who don't want their experience bogged down by others.

It's not clear why the FCC thinks it needs to intervene in a situation with obvious market solutions. Companies that impose draconian tolls or block services will lose customers. Existing laws already offer a number of protections against anti-competitive behavior, but it's not clear under what law Mr. Genachowski thinks he can stick his nose into the businesses that comprise the Internet. The FCC regulates broadcast television and radio because the government granted each station exclusive access to a slice of the airwaves. Likewise when Ma Bell accepted a monopoly deal from Uncle Sam, it came with regulatory strings attached.

No such rationale applies online, especially because bipartisan majorities in Congress have insisted on maintaining a hands-off policy. A federal appeals court confirmed this in April by striking down the FCC's last attempt in this arena. "That was sort of like the quarterback being sacked for a 20-yard loss," FCC Commissioner Robert M. McDowell told The Washington Times. "And now the team is about to run the exact same play. ... In order for the FCC to do this, it needs for Congress to give it explicit statutory authority to do so."

Freedom and openness should continue to be the governing principles of the Internet. That's why Mr. Genachowski's proposal should be rejected and Congress should make it even more clear that the FCC should stop trying to expand its regulatory empire."

Why Congress Has Low Ratings

Seeing Is Believing
While acting as the House of Representatives Speaker of the House, Representative Laura Richardson (D, CA) shows rudeness and tries to censor a fellow member of Congress. You don't have to know the Rules of Order to understand that this was JUST WRONG! Watch the video and notice that Richardson has four people on the sidelines coaching her what to say to silence Republican Steven Buyer (R, Indiana) from making a point of order regarding the incorrect "procedure" of the legislation at hand.

Lame Stream Media's Reporting
CBS said that Representative Buyer was throwing a "Tantrum." However, the CBS video clip deletes the beginning of the incident. They leave-out the first few minutes where the Speaker blatantly denies free speech in the House of Representatives for no apparent reason - other than just because she does not want to hear his arguments.

What CBS forgot to mention is that the person who actually wrote and sponsored the bill was not present. Representative Steven Buyer is the person who is in charge of the committee that reviews legislation. However, the DEMs "Skipped" the review process in order to jam this bill through Congress by side-stepping the official process. In other words, "THE ENDS JUSTIFY THE MEANS." (Saul Alinsky's method of destroying America).

More proof that Progressives don't want the hear the TRUTH. They would rather just SILENCE IT instead. They have no arguments for the facts! That's why Progressive are so dangerous.

This is YOUR Congress At Work
No wonder we have lost faith and trust with the Lame Stream media. They blatantly misrepresent the truth and slant the news to fit THEIR POLITICAL AGENDA. They reported this incorrectly as anyone who witnesses it can attest.

Don't Trust Lame Ducks
This is a clear example of the Lame Duck Congress in action. Are there any good reasons why the Progressives shouldn't be labeled as a danger to American values and freedom?

Action To Take
America, pay attention to the details. Once you begin to understand who you have elected into office, you will become active to get them out-of-office ASAP!

Govt. Thefts Lead to Counter Measures

Government Theft...
With the recent government seizures (stealing) by the Department of Homeland Security of Internet domains to close down websites, there is a new movement taking place. The new DNS (Domain Name Server) system exchanges DNS information by peer-to-peer transfers and will have a new p2p file extension.

This is in direct response to the ILLEGAL takeovers by the Federal government in the past couple of weeks. Our government has been ILLEGALLY "policing" the Internet and has been seizing Internet domains from anyone who they "THINK" may be guilty of copyright infringements. So much for obeying the US Constitution!

These recent anti-music pirating efforts have focused on seizing (STEALING) domains from the alleged infringing websites. Homeland Security has found out how easy it is to STEAL a domain name. It's easy because several of the top domains are managed by US-based company's like Verisign who works closely with the US Department of Commerce. This situation is a REAL threat to the 1st Amendment and the right to free speech. Does anybody care?

Always Watch Both Hands of the Government
Recall that while this theft is going on - the other arm of OUR government is also trying to take control over the Internet simultaneously. The FCC is trying to pass "regulations" that would in affect allow them to become Internet censors. These actions are not coincidental. Our government is actively trying to take over control of the Internet any way they can.

Why isn't anyone complaining? Some are!

New Approach
The new approach to Internet addressing of domain names incorporates a service that attaches to a host computer's system and manipulates all the requests for a domain name. This eliminates government take-overs because they cannot just pull the plug on a central server like they have recently. This method decentralizes the old way and eliminates domain name censoring which is also being used in China and Iran.

Action To Take
Watch closely how this project turns out. If adopted, it could significantly change the Internet and dis-allow government censorship.

In the mean time tell the government to keep their grubby hands-off the Internet! We don't want them censoring it!

Why The DREAM Act Is Bad

Thank Harry Reid
Newly re-elected Senator Harry Reid (D, NV) is trying once again to try and get ILLEGAL ALIENS to have full AMNESTY! This time he calls his bill the "DREAM ACT." This bill gives amnesty to ILLEGALS aged 16 to 35 if they meet one of two conditions.

1. They are eligible to become a US citizen (FULL AMNESTY) if they complete two years of college (that WE will probably pay for in total). The bill doesn't say how a 16 year old can complete two years of college because they haven't completed high school yet - but that's beside the point.

or

2. They can become US citizens if they complete two years in the United States military service. They don't indicate how an ILLEGAL can join the military without using stolen Social Security numbers or falsified identification. In other words, they have to break the law AGAIN in order to pass this qualification!

Why Bother With These "Restrictions" At All?
Aren't these two conditions just a free ticket that invites more law breaking? Harry Reid is an IDIOT! He thinks we are too stupid to see that this bill is pure and simple a gift of AMNESTY.

Impact on Us
Reid's legislation takes NOTHING into account as to what impact this would have on the American economy and small businesses. It's no wonder because it would be devastating. The DREAM Act adds another 2 MILLION to our population.

What about the 17% of unemployed American workers who cannot find jobs? Forget them. That's only 22 Million Americans who can't find work. So why would adding more out-of-work ILLEGALS be hurting these numbers? They won't explain that!

The Children Are the Victims
Frankly we're getting tired of this BS argument. Supporters of the DREAM Act say that we are "punishing the children" of ILLEGALS and it's not their fault that their parents put them there. They forget to mention that after the "children" become US citizens they can apply for their parents to join them as well! This law IGNORES the fact that it will encourage MORE ILLEGALS to enter the country for the same amnesty!

Still NOT Convinced?
You need to watch a five minute video that explains why the DREAM Act will have no effect whatsoever on the problem of world hunger or overpopulation. Here's the link.

Action To Take
Tell your representatives to vote "NO" on the DREAM Act. It's no solution to the problem - it only makes it worse!
