10 Goverment Lies

The Lies
Big government is getting stronger every day. Why is this? It's because the people we elected are great liars and unfortunately, trust them. This is one BIG MISTAKE. We all know (or at least we hope so), that most politicians are liars. They lie to get elected and then lie to get re-elected. They promise us things that make us want to re-elect them and keep them in office. Politicians tell us what WE want to hear and then we elect them to fulfill their promises. It's the same with big government.

We allow Big Government to keep on going because we never stop and take the time to evaluate it. We just ignore the facts that Big Government is really BAD and is notoriously a failure when it comes to meeting stated objectives. If we held them to be accountable, Big Government would be a lot different than what we have right now.

Quick Look
Take a fast look at what we "believe" to be true about Big Government. There are at least 10 lies perpetrated by Big Government, as follows:

LIE #1
Big Government is your friend. They're here to help you! We have all come to believe that the government serves only your interests. They have no other interests except keeping you happy. Nothing could be any farther from the truth. Big Government is self-serving and only tries to perpetuate more in a self-fulfilling prophecy. They only do things to justify their own existence and grow even bigger.

LIE #2
You can always trust Big Government. Ever hear of Area 51? How many years did the government lie to us about its existence? 50? We now know that there is such a place and that it was used for clandestine purposes. Why even the Russians knew about Area 51 and had spy satellites flying over it during the cold war!

LIE #3
Big Government NEVER wastes YOUR money. We never hear about a $500 toilet seat coming out of the government, do we? We never see that the government turns it's head whenever there's any accusations that ANY of their programs are blatant with fraud or abuse. It's always easier to ignore than to explore. You government wastes your money at alarming rates each day.

LIE #4
Big Government always has the RIGHT answers to solve YOUR problems. They are NEVER Wrong. Have you ever known ANY politician admit that they were wrong about a Big Government program? Case closed. Of course Big Government makes mistakes. The only problem is that when they do it it's always colossal in size and scope.

LIE #5
Big Government programs never fail, they always succeed. (Examples: Stimulus, Cash for Clunkers, Solyndra). These are some of the most recent Big Government failed programs. They happen all the time.

LIE #6
Big Government is always held accountable. (Examples: Fast and Furious, Black Panther voter intimidation, cutting government spending). Why hasn't Eric Holder been fired for lying to Congress about selling guns to Mexico? Why did Eric Holder ignore voter intimidation by the Black Panthers when we all saw the video of that crime being committed?  Wasn't there a mandate in the 2010 mid-term elections to cut Big Government spending. Have they done any cutting of any significance? Why havent' the politicians been held accountable for NOT doing what they were tasked to do? Pathetic!

LIE # 7
Big Government taxes are fair. The number one perfect example here is that 50.5% of Americans actually pay taxes. The other 49.5% do NOT pay their fair share because they do NOT PAY ANY TAXES. What the Hell is fair about that?

LIE #8
Big Government can supply the people with things they want, but cannot afford. It's Christmas all year when Big Government controls spending! The only problem is that Big Government does NOT earn the money they spend, so they don't have any sense of responsibility for what they spend, how they spend, or where they spend it. This has created the worst national deficit in the history of America!

LIE #9
Big Government can simply raise taxes on the rich to pay for things people cannot afford. The rich are NOT stupid people! How did they get rich? DUH? Our national debt is so large that there aren't enough rich people in the world to tax to pay for it! That's not the solution!

LIE #10
Big Government NEVER breaks the law and will help you in a disaster. The perfect example is Hurricane Katrina. People died waiting for government help. Note to self: WE NEED TO BE SELF-SUFFICIENT! When the government did come to help victims of the disaster, the first thing they did was to ILLEGALLY disarm citizens who were protecting their own property-making them prone to looting. That's a good example of your government in action.

Summary
Do NOT TRUST Big Government. Demand smaller government. hold politicians accountable for their failures, beginning with dumping Obama from the White House in November.
