Minimum Wage Fallacy

The minimum wage is not what people are led to believe what it REALLY is - bad news for those at the bottom of the career ladder. Every time the government raises the minimum wage, there are fewer jobs available for those seeking entry into the job market.

The minimum wage is NOT intended to support a person with a family. The minimum wage is intended to support a person with NO SKILLS entering the job market for the first time. It is not purported to enable a career path. The minimum wage is intended to be a fair wage for someone who needs to be trained, and to learn the required skills for an entry level job. PERIOD! Anyone who thinks that the minimum wage should offer anything else is a fool.

Too many people confuse that idea with the thought that the minimum wage should be for those who want to make a career out of an unskilled-entry-level job. That's just STUPID! Entry-level is NOT a permanent career.

We should oppose the minimum wage. Politicians who push it are deceiving you so they can get re-elected. Don't be fooled again.
