The United States Senate Finance Committee is trying to pull the wool over American taxpayers eyes. They really do not want us to know what is in the final version of the government healthcare bill. How do we know this to be true?
They just voted-down an amendment that would provide the public access to the written legislation on the web 72 hours before they commit a final vote on the legislation. This just gives us another good reason to vote them out of office!
Action To Take
This behavior is totally UNACCEPTABLE and we need to take action. Call or write them and tell them you are outraged with their secretiveness and lack of transparency. Ask them what they are trying to hide. Tell them to stop lying to the American public about their commitment to provide transparency. Their actions show otherwise. Let them know you are watching and that we will not accept or permit this type of behavior any longer.
