The GOP came out with their version of a pledge to America. It consists of 20 pages of Blah, Blah, Blah, Blah. Incidentally, this is the typical politician's way of writing ANYTHING. What they forgot to do is to target it to their audience - Mainstream Americans.
They should have a bulleted list like this instead:
GOP's Top Ten List
- Stop spending on things like the Departments of Education and Commerce, HUD, Fannie Mae & Freddie Mac and by ending TARP immediately.
- Repeal ObamaCare and all it's stupid regulations.
- Abolish the IRS and ALL Federal Taxes and replace with the Fair Tax instead.
- Stop funding for all Czars who were not vetted by the US Senate.
- Remove troops from Korea, Germany, and Europe to protect our borders here in the USA.
- Extend the Bush tax-cuts indefinitely until the economy recovers.
- Guarantee NO AMNESTY for any ILLEGALS.
- Audit and the abolish the Federal Reserve Banks.
- Establish term limits for Congress - not to exceed two consecutive terms without lifetime retirement benefits of healthcare and full salary.
- Reduce the Federal Budget to 1980 spending levels.
- Ban all PACs (Political Action Committees) and special interest groups by making them illegal.
