Not "if", but When The "SHTF" (S Hits The Fan), how will you get your news? Will you be listening to the government-controlled TV, cable, and local media stations? For the most part, you already are! The STATIST Media already is the propaganda arm of the President. Like that will work for you! Will you depend on your cell phone, tablet, or other similar electronic device? Will you depend on the Internet? Forget those ideas. WHY?

If you've been paying any attention, you should be aware that Obama has already considered these options and has written several "Executive Directives" (euphemism for STEALING POWERS HE DOESN'T HAVE). His usurpation of powers gives him the ultimate authority in a "national emergency" like WTSHTF to control media messages, and Internet control. How convenient.

Yes, Obama learned from Hugo Chavez (recently deceased dictator of Venezuela) that you MUST control the media. HUGO nationalized all TV and all radio stations. Since Obama couldn't just "nationalize" them like Chavez did, he did it in a surreptitious way by "Executive Directives" instead. Obama will control ALL media, phones, and Internet services in cases of "national emergencies." The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) will become Obama's "Civilian National Security Force" (alias the Brown Shirts). It's all there and he has been busy creating this structure during his first four years as President. Block by block, piece by piece, the structure has been built into place to deal with "Civil Unrest" that he hopes to create. Bottom up, top down, crush the insurgents and take full control. Forget the Constitution, we have Civil Unrest. History repeats America. It's all there just waiting for the SHTF.

If you think it's bad now, what do you expect if the government takes FULL CONTROL? Do you honestly believe that they will tell you what's REALLY going on? They don't now, so how could you expect any improvement?

The Bottom Line
You need an alternate source for your communication and your news. The Answer: A short wave radio. Get yourself a good battery operated short wave radio receiver. Learn how to use it. Listen to the news being reported about the USA by foreign countries. Get a different perspective other than the one you are "forced" to listen to here. This alone should open your eyes. Share this revelation with your friends and family.

While you're at it, you should consider getting a short wave radio that can transmit voice too. The catch there is that the FCC requires you to get a license in order to broadcast on Amateur radio. This requires passing FCC exams, paying fees, and then purchasing expensive radio transmitting equipment. This can be pricy and the government will know EXACTLY WHO YOU ARE AND WHERE YOU LIVE. You will be added to their national database as a qualified licensed operator. You potentially may be called upon to help the government assist during emergencies like Katrina. Some individuals (illegally) omit the licensing process and just get the radio instead. You can buy an amateur radio without a license. Most radio vendors never ask any questions. If you have the money, they will sell you the equipment. However, it IS illegal to transmit without a license.

Think about it. This IS a good alternative to staying informed and communicating.
