Progressives Must Have It Their Way

Reporting Facts
Todays Tweets included the headline that North Carolina voters passed a ban against homosexual marriages. In effect, they did not rely on activist judges to force them into making it a law like they did in Massachusetts.

One Way View
Apparently Progressives ONLY see things THEIR way. "It's their way or the highway," to coin an old phrase. Within a minute or so on posting this Tweet, I received the following response:

"Go marry your first cousin, you bigot." It was from a self-admitted Progressive father of two.

My response was: "When in doubt, start calling names."

Why try logic on a Progressive? Progressives can only have it their way. There are no shades of gray. There are no "right" opinions other than their own because they always have the "right" opinions. We're talking opinions here. There aren't ANY other than what Progresives say there are.

Reality
This isn't the real world as anyone sane knows it. There are diverse opinions everywhere. When it becomes impossible to express your personal opinions, this no longer remains America - land of the free and the brave. Instead it turns-into what the Progressives want - Land of Do What I Say - Not As I do.

Ban school bake sales and tungsten light bulbs, nationalize auto companies, allow anyone to vote, open our borders, make all factory workers join unions, give entitlements to anyone who wants them, pay the unemployed to stay away from working for 2-3 years, let 50% of Americans avoid paying taxes and make the rest pay for all the "free stuff." Ban coal. Ban oil. Ban natural gas. Let gasoline cost $8.00 a gallon. Regulate those who do not cooperate into compliance. Stop referring to "terrorists" as "terrorists." Banish the word "ILLEGAL" because it demeans those who are "undocumented." Ignore the national deficit. Raise taxes on those who actually pay taxes. Make them pay because they can afford it!

Welcome To Amerika
Progressives want these things. They REALLY do! They would be extremely happy living in Europe because Socialists and Marxists are having their way in government over there. Now Progressives want it that way here. They want to fundamentally change America to Amerika. We can't and must not let them!
